The goal of the POE+ is to provide participants with greater confidence and competence at the organ; however, no prior organ experience is necessary.

FACULTY
The faculty will include professional organists with extensive experience in church music, teaching, and organ performance.
INSTRUMENTS
Lessons, recitals, and group sessions will be held at selected area churches, featuring a variety of the finest pipe organs in the Southwest.
ACCOMMODATIONS
Private housing is available at a rate of $100 for the week. Registrants may also make reservations at the conference hotel, Hotel Waterfront Ivy, Scottsdale. Registrants should make reservations directly with the hotel:

The room rate is $69 per night (single & double), which includes a complimentary full breakfast buffet daily.

Reservations must be made by May 18.
Check-in is 4:00 PM on Monday, June 19.
Check-out is noon on Friday, June 23.
RESERVATIONS AND FEES
Participant fee is $325 (or $275 by April 18!), which covers lessons, group sessions, and two meals a day from Monday lunch through Friday lunch. (Exception: Thursday dinner is on your own.)
Registrants are encouraged to contact their local AGO chapters or churches/synagogues for financial assistance.
APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS
Applicants must be age 19 and above. The POE/POE+ Committee may choose to grant special consideration on an individual basis for admission of a potential registrant whose age or training is different than the guidelines.
Registration is limited to the first 30 applicants, so apply now! Applications will be processed in the order they are received until all spaces are filled.
Deadline for applications is May 18, 2006. For cancellations prior to May 18, payment will be refunded minus a $25 cancellation fee.
Pipe Organ Encounters is an educational outreach program of the American Guild of Organists. Major funding for Pipe Organ Encounters is provided by the Associated Pipe Organ Builders of America. Additional support is provided by the American Institute of Organbuilders and Margaret R. Evans. Permanently endowed AGO scholarships are provided in memory of Seth Bingham, Clarence Dickinson, Philip Hahn, Charles N. Henderson, Alfred E. Lunsford, Ned Siebert, and Martin M. Wick, and in honor of Philip E. Baker, and Morgan and Mary Simmons. Additional scholarship funds have been created in honor of Ruth Milliken, and in memory of Robert S. Baker and Virgil Fox.
