• Interim Music Assistant: All Saints' Episcopal Church. 6300 N Central Ave, Phoenix. All Saints' is an urban parish with Day School K–8, known for its traditional worship. The hallmarks of the parish are education and music. The organ is a 3–manual tracker built by Pieter Visser, there is a 1–manual Blackinton tracker in the Chapel. The position is anticipated to continue to, or through, August of 2011. The Episcopal Church does not discriminate on the basis of gender, race, nationality, sexual orientation, or age. Position is offered at three levels: Level 1—ability to assist with the Chorister Program during weekday school time rehearsals, acting as accompanist and assistant. This is 1–2 hours per day Tues–Fri (10h weekly). Level 2—ability to play services on Saturday evening and Sunday morning, and to work with parish children's choir and children's chapel on Sunday mornings, both musical and administrative (18h weekly). Level 3—ability to assume major organist duties including Sunday morning formal worship and ability to function as both accompanist and assistant conductor for choral program (Wed PM reh). Requires excellent service playing skills and the ability to assist in special  service, concerts, recitals, etc. (25h weekly). • Director of Music (part–time): Palo Cristi Presbyterian Church is searching for a new music director (current director retires 8/29/2010). We are an eclectic, small church with a variety of musical tastes that span from traditional hymns to classical choral to jazz to contemporary worship music. In this time of transition, we are looking at new ways to enhance our worship. We have a grand piano and an Allen organ (installed about seven years ago). The position allows for approximately ten hours per week: three hours on Sunday (one service and rehearsal prior to worship); Wednesday evening rehearsals (approximately three hours) for our choir and handbell groups; one hour per week to meet with the pastor to discuss upcoming worship plans, and approximately three hours personal rehearsal and prep time.
